Mobile and offline apps
Android and iOS apps, including ones that work without internet.
- Field service app — The technician sees the day's schedule, opens a job, taps "Arrived" and then records labour, parts and the required photos. The customer signs with a finger on the screen. That signature closes the work order, writes off the parts and sends the card to invoicing, so nobody in the office retypes anything from paper.
- Offline mode — Out in a field or in a barn with no signal, the app keeps working and holds signed work orders on the phone until a connection appears. Then it uploads them on its own. The profile shows how many are waiting, and "Upload now" sends them straight away. The same card cannot be written off twice.
- Android and iOS from one codebase — There is one app, and it runs on Android and iOS, and on the web where needed. A fix or a new screen is made in one place and reaches every phone at the same time. Each role sees its own screens inside the same app.
- Native iOS app — A native iPhone app for running the store from your phone, with orders, products, warehouse stock and the daily dashboard. It uses the same API as the web system, so the data is identical and nothing needs a separate sync.
- Updates without the app stores — New versions of the screens are published to duXena, and phones download them the next time the app opens, with no new build in Google Play or the App Store. If a change needs new native code, the app says a full update is required. A fix reaches people in the field the same day.
- Team GPS — Company phones report their position during working hours only, with the member of staff's consent and after the firm confirms it has told them. The manager sees the team, the day's route, gaps and long stays, and when each phone last checked in; points are kept at most 30 days. A customer's coordinates are saved with the "Save the customer's place" button, never by themselves.
- Camera barcode scanner — The phone camera reads barcodes and QR codes, so no separate scanner is needed. The technician scans the part being fitted and it goes onto the work order as the correct stock item.
- Push notifications — A new job, an approval, a reassignment or an overdue task arrives as a notification on the phone of the person it concerns. Tapping it opens the relevant screen. One event sends one notification, even if the server restarts.
- Warehouse terminal screen — Scanning runs full screen with no menu and nothing extra, which suits a terminal or a phone mounted on the picking cart. The warehouse worker sees only the current step and large buttons.
- Warehouse mode — You set a specific computer or phone in the warehouse to show only the warehouse modules. The setting belongs to the device and applies whoever is logged in, so the warehouse machine cannot open reports or finance by mistake.
- Mobile-ready system — Every screen of the system opens on a phone without a separate app. Wide tables turn into cards, and the main actions stay within thumb reach.
